I grew up in San José, Costa Rica. A country in Central America bordered by Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south. Throughout my childhood the person that brought me closer to photography was my Dad, although back then he didn’t know anything about cameras, he always had on hand his little Kodak film camera ready to snap photos of me and my siblings around the house or everywhere. My awesome Mom still has back home many of the original film rolls we developed. Amazing!.

But it wasn’t until High School when I discovered certain attraction to photography. I never own a camera, but I remember I used to grab my friend’s camera and whenever we went on a trip, I was the one taking photos of them all the time. I remember thinking and talking to myself about how awesome was the fact that we were creating tangible memories for the rest of our lives.

Time went by. While in college pursuing an accounting degree (yes, I'm an accountant!), for our first anniversary my husband gifted me with my very first camera. From there, I haven't looked back. I started to self-learned with youtube as my best friend in any topic photography-related, and that’s how and why I’m here.

I’ve loved every second of this journey, and although I love accounting, nothing fills my heart more than photography and creating everlasting memories for people I care. When it comes to my work I love honesty… In a world where you are kind of told every single day how you should live, look, eat, or be; my most personal believe is that WE are ALL amazing, it doesn’t matter in which stage of our Journey we are, IT’S WORTHY to be remembered forever. So, I’m inspired by individuals and their stories, their journeys, their dreams. When you work with me, I want nothing more than the real you. The real person, as individual or as a couple. We are all Pinterest worthy :)
